Ingredients
Glutinous Rice (I used 1 cup, use as much as you like).
water for soaking
water for steaming the rice
Tools For Cooking
I used a traditional sticky rice steamer, but I am sure you can use a regular steamer
Step 1: Soak your rice in the water for at least 1 hour.
Step 2: After soaking, wash the rice until the water runs clear (or almost clear) :).
Step 3: Add the rice to the steamer, don't worry about the excess water it will drain out.
Step 4: Steam for around 15 to 30 minutes depending on how long you have soaked the rice.
Step 5: When done, dump your rice out on to a wooden board or ect, an knead the rice a little bit, until some of the steam escapes, then put into your bamboo basket or as I have done put on to a serving bowl and serve with some yummy Lao dips or salads1! Yummmm :),
Depending on the amount of rice used will depend on how many people this will feed. :)
