Thai Nam Prik Pla Ra

 




1/2 cup Pla Ra (Fermented Fish Sauce)
6 red Thai chillies
6 garlic cloves
2 red onions, or 4 small red shallots
1/4 cup lime juice
2 teaspoons palm or raw sugar




Step 1: Start by roasting your chillies, shallots, and garlic at 200c, in an oven, until blackened and the garlic is caramelized.

Step 2: Blend or pound your garlic, onions or shallots, and chillies to a chunky but fairly smooth paste.

Step 3: Add your sugar, lime juice, and pla ra. Serve. :D :D :D
